The use of Rihanna's song 'Don't Stop the Music' at a Trump rally has led the singer to voice her disapproval.

Trump's team must be clutching at straws these days, because it's looking like no musicians or singers want to be associated with the man. Prince's estate has asked for the late icon's 'Purple Rain' to not be played at rallies, while more recently, Pharrell Williams' 'Happy' was played at a rally hours after the mass shooting at a Pittsburgh synagogue. Williams has since started legal action on the president.

Trump was in Taylor Swift's home state of Tennessee over the weekend, supporting candidate Marsha Blackburn, whom Swift has publicly criticised in the past.

Rihanna caught wind of 'Don't Stop the Music' being played, after a Trump supporter was live-tweeting at the rally. He said, "Currently, Rihanna's 'Don't Stop the Music' is blaring in Chattanooga as aides toss free Trump T-shirts into the crows, like a ball game. Everyone's loving it."

Clearly, everyone was not loving it, Philip. Rihanna quipped back, "Not for much longer... me nor my people would ever be at or around one of those tragic rallies, so thanks for the heads up Philip!"

Kudos to Rihanna for the spectacular use of "tragic" there.

The hit singer also took to her Instagram overnight to urge residents in Florida to vote on Tuesday. "You have the opportunity to make history this election. The US has only had four black Governors in its entire history, and we can help make #AndrewGillum the next one and Florida's first!"

FLORIDA: You have the opportunity to make history this election. The US has only had four black Governors in its entire history, and we can help make #AndrewGillum the next one and Florida’s first! If you’re tired of feeling like you don’t matter in the political process, know the most important thing you can do in supporting a candidate is finding someone who will take on critical issues such as: making minimum wage a livable wage, paying teachers what their worth, ensuring criminal justice reform, making healthcare a right, and repealing Stand Your Ground. That’s a platform we MUST support. Let’s #bringithome, Florida. Vote @andrewgillum. And VOTE YES on Amendment 4 to restore voting rights to folks who have already paid their debt to society. VOTE on November 6th!
