Rihanna is getting herself sued for allegedly making defamatory comments about her former bodyguard, Geoffrey Keating. And he's in good hands - his solicitor is only Gerald Kean... He's been busy speaking to TMZ, and everything.

The 26-year-old singer has been hit with a lawsuit from Finglas-based Keating. He's claiming the popstar made "nauseatingly offensive" and false statements about him in an email sent to him and his wife last July.

He also claims the star used the same defamatory allegations via a telephone call to his sister.

Mr Keating, who worked for Rihanna on her 'Diamonds' tour between October 2012 and July 2013, claims the comments have tarnished his reputation and damaged the future of his business.

The former bodyguard is seeking damages against the singer and he also wants her to publish a correction of the alleged defamation.

Solicitor Kean was granted permission yesterday to serve the singer with the legal papers at her gaf in New York City. He told TMZ: "We're taking this battle very seriously. We are satisfied that the Irish Courts will see justice at the end of the day."
