It's been a whirlwind few months for fans of the hitmaker, and now just five months after news of her pregnancy, we've received word that she's welcomed her first child into the world.
According to PEOPLE, Rihanna, 34, and her boyfriend A$AP Rocky, 33, welcomed their baby boy into their family last week on May 13.
A source close to the couple says they're at home in Los Angeles and that Rihanna has been a "wonderful" mom with the baby: "Rihanna is doing well. They are very excited to be parents. Rihanna is already a wonderful mom."
Rihanna debuted her baby bump for the first time back in January in New York City. The Grammy winner and founder of Fenty Beauty sent the internet into meltdown as she was photographed walking through the city's snowy streets with her bump on show in a pink winter coat.
During a Los Angeles Fenty Beauty event earlier this year, the singer told PEOPLE she's having "fun" playing with fashion while she's pregnant. She said: "I'm enjoying not having to worry about covering up my tummy. If I feel a little chubby, it's like, whatever! It's a baby!
"Right now, being pregnant, some days you just feel like, 'Ugh, I just want to lay here on this couch all day'. But when you put on a little face and a little lipstick, you transform."
Rihanna and A$AP Rocky (real name Rakim Mayers) have been romantically linked for nearly a decade. The 'Pon de Replay' singer's most recent release was 2016's 'Anti', her eighth studio album. A$AP Rocky is part of the line-up for Longitude 2022 at Marlay Park this July.
