Reynolds made sure the language of his club's country was included in the new Netflix film.
In the promo, Reynolds proclaims he 'can't stand those celebrities that take advantage of filming opportunities to promote their personal interests'. The tongue-in-cheek line is delivered while he wears a Wrexham AFC hat and glove combo. He's also sitting in front of a giant painting on the club's crest.
Ifor Williams, a local trailer company and the club's sponsor get a mention. They put the trailer for 'Red Notice' on their trailers. A lovely gesture, that.
Captain Ben Tozer and vice captain Luke Young also feature. Tozer claims he sees himself as 'The Rock of Wrexham'.
Local Bakery Emzcakes, Mayor of Wrexham Ronnie Prince and Welsh footballing legend Robbie Savage all feature in the short clip.
Reynolds bought Wrexham with fellow actor and business partner Rob McElhenney in November 2020. A documentary about the club called 'Welcome to Wrexham' will premiere next year on FX.
You can watch 'Red Notice' on Netflix now. But it may not be the best use of your time.
