Here's one robot overlord we would welcome to take over the world. Mike Senna, a robotics fan clearly, spent over two years working on a real-life working version of the classic Pixar character, albeit a version controlled by him.

Although if it were to become autonomous, it would clearly be just as loving as the cinema counterpart, seeing as Senna's motivation behind completing the project was the fact that it would bring smiles to the faces of children at City of Hope, a pediatric cancer charity.

That's just dust in our eyes, we swear....
