Sylvester Stallone, presumably in a thinly veiled bid to promote his latest shiny incarnation of Rambo, has spilled the beans about a party he hosted back in the day with Van Damme and Steven Segal. Stallone said: "At a party in my home in Miami in 1997, Van Damme was tired of Seagal claiming he could kick his ass so he offered Seagal outside into my back yard. Seagal made his excuses and left but Van Damme, who was berserk, tracked him down at a nightclub and offered him out again." However, he said Seagal again "pulled a Houdini" and legged it, adding: "Van Damme was too strong. Seagal wanted none of it." That's a shame, I'll just have to entertain my brain with visuals of the duo engaged in a frenzied display of elaborate splits. However, it's nice to see that, despite a roid driven haze, there was an element of gentlemanly politeness - what with the whole, eh, "offering" business…
