Yes, we know, it's hardly a heat wave but we'll take what we can get!

Here's how the forecast looks for the week ahead...

Dry tomorrow with sunny spells. Highest temperatures ranging from 10 or 11 degrees in the north and along the east coast, to 14 or 15 degrees in inland parts of Munster. Winds will be light variable or easterly.

Wednesday: A dry day with good sunshine and highest temperatures of 13 to 16 degrees in moderate easterly breezes.

Thursday: Still dry and sunny with highs of 12 to 16 degrees but fresh east to southeast winds will keep it cooler near the Leinster and south-Munster coast.

Friday: Continuing dry for most places but occasional rain along the south Munster coast during the day. Highest temperatures of 10 to 15 degrees.

Next Weekend: Mostly dry
