Portia de Rossi allegedly spent a month in rehab in May. She managed to keep that under wraps, unlike Shia La Beouf and Robin Williams - both of which reportedly checked into rehab facilities in the last day or two.

The 41-year-old actress reportedly sought treatment at Passages Malibu rehab facility for drug and alcohol issues after an argument with her wife Ellen DeGeneres.

A source told In Touch magazine: "They got into an ugly fight. Portia hadn't been happy for a while and was drinking and isolating [herself], and Ellen confronted her. Portia lost it and blamed Ellen for driving her to drink because of her controlling ways and said she wasn't in love with her anymore. Ellen was crushed and screamed at Portia to get out."

This all sounds very dramatic, but a unfortunately it's sometimes such fights are a necessary evil to maintain relationships. And, if this photo of them happily leaving a New York hotel on June 19th is anything to go by, they're "determined to make their relationship work."

The 56-year-old chat show host, who married Portia in 2008, reportedly visited her missus at the facility every weekend to provide support during her alleged treatment.

The insider explained: "They are on their way to repairing their marriage. It won't be easy. Portia will always be battling these demons. But they love each other."

This isn't the first time Portia has been admitted to a rehab; she also sought treatment for an eating disorder in 2000 after her weight reportedly plunged to just 82lbs.
