Pokemon Go is a success. Tinder is a success. If you put them together, you'll surely have a hit on your hands, right?

That's what the creators of the new Pokémon Go dating app are hoping. They've just launched the app, named PokeDates, in the US to bring players of the game together. Users have to fill out a short questionnaire and they will then be matched up with similarly mined people nearby. Presumably, they can then go a date / pokehunt with their match, and true will take over. Or not.If it's a success, it could be rolled out worldwide.

It's a cute idea, but dependent on Pokemon Go being an ongoing success and not just a fad. It also costs $20 to join, when you can download other dating apps for free.
