Ace the Pitbull saved 13-year old Nick Lamb - who is hearing impaired and wears cochlear implants - was awoken by his dog who did so by licking him on the face. The house had caught fire during the night and Ace had the sense to wake young Nick.
Nick, who had just returned from summer camp, was spending his weekend alone in the house, said that he probably would haven't woken up were it not for the dog.
