Of his Life Stories series, which aired recently on ITV, Piers said:

"It's been a great success, not just in terms of ratings, which have been - and I hate to bang on about this - about 80% higher than Jonathan Ross. In fact, higher than Jonathan Ross, Graham Norton and ChrisMoyles's chatshows all put together, which is, personally, given that they all want to kill me and I want to kill them, quite satisfying... I've proven, I think, that the public are prepared to sit there for an hour, a long time in TV, and really get into an individual's life story. The modern, bish bash chatshow can be a little bit tedious when they keep coming on, plugging their latest album, book or whatever and then toddle off and the next one comes on."

Indeed, Piers just has people on with nothing to promote, apart from their existence which they need to remind the public of.

You can reportedly see Piers' fantastically statastical show this coming Saturday, when he interviews Katie Price/Jordan/Rubber Bumps. Again.

That is about the size of it...
