It was only a matter of time before Ireland got its knickers in a proverbial twist over the above-average temperatures we've been enjoying of late.
Last night, the skies through her toys out of the pram with a thunder and lightening session quite unlike anything we've seen before. Dogs were howling as the skies lit up with some of the most stunning lightning forks, some of which you were lucky enough to capture on camera. Remember, if it doesn't make it to social media, it never happened.
Unfortunately, reports say over 6000 homes were left without electricity following the storm.
