Hundreds of thousands of people marched in protest against Trump at last weekend’s Women’s Marches, including a number of celebrities.

Actress Carrie Fisher, who passed away a month ago, had also been a vocal critic of Trump and during the protest, the character for which she was most famous, Princess Leia, was used as a powerful symbol for the protests.

Princess Leia has for 40 years now been an icon of resistance, rebellion and female empowerment.
