Break out the tinfoil hats because it's time for this week's segment of "random space shit someone's calling an alien".

Scientists earlier this year claimed that there were potential signs of life, some clusters of organic material, spotted on a comet that the Rosetta probe had orbited.

Queue UFO and conspiracy theorists calling every oddly shaped rock the carcass of an alien. This week it's the turn of UFO Sightings Daily's Scott C Waring to declare life in outer space, as he claims that the highlighted image below is that of a 250 foot alien cyborg.

Sure, a cyborg. Or, and we're just throwing this out there so we have both sides of the arguement, it could be literally anything else and is most definitely not an alien robot.

Our guess is a rock. Now, to be fair, it's a shiny rock, but it can be as shiny and as rocky as it wants for all we care, that doesn't make it an alien. It makes it a cool looking rock.

Despite that, Waring believes otherwise, ‘I found an alien body…decomposed and bones are all that’s left. The bones look metallic and the lower body bones are spread out.

‘The skull of the alien is clear with the neck and the lower chest and ribs. Nothing too extraordinary I suppose, but it is 80 meters tall if it stood up on its legs. Its head is tilted sideways so we only see one eye socket, but it looks like there are two.’

OK Scott, we believe you already, if that'll get you to shut up, we believe you.

P.S. It's a rock.
