We may curse and shout and scream about how Dublin City Council are the worst people on the planet, but they're just doing a job.

We're usually of the opinion that they're awful right after we've paid to get the car unclamped after leaving it sans parking ticket for five minutes.

In any case, they're doing a job and trying to keep the streets clean. However, we've got to imagine that veneer of icy professionalism slips every now and then.

And if this bin sign is anything to go by, we're guessing it's happened at least once.

Litter bugs ARE pricks, in fairness. So, y'know, it's a fair comment.

We'd like to point out that this is more than likely NOT Dublin City Council, but wouldn't it be great if they started making their signs like this?

HERE, EEJIT - THERE'S NO PARKING HERE.

LOOK, IF YOU PARK ON THE DOUBLE-YELLOW LINE, IT'S GONNA COST YOU EIGHTY LIDS. IS THAT WHAT YOU WANT?

We want to live in that world, with plain-spoken signs and interactions with your local government.
