Is there anything worse than being caught sleeping on the job by the head of your company? How about the head of the company posing for a photo beside you and immortalising the moment?

When Richard Branson caught one of his employees taking a nap on the couch he decided to turn the moment into a PR opportunity rather than discipline the poor chap. The Virgin boss made a surprise pit stop at his offices in Australia and came across this tired employee in the staffroom.

He wrote about the moment on his Virgin.com blog:

"I popped into the office and the airport to say hello and check in to see what the team are up to. This guy wasn’t up to much at all - I caught him sleeping on the job! Wow, did he get a shock when I woke him up."

The unnamed employee didn't stir during the impromptu photoshoot and barely moved when Branson finally made his presence known.

"He must have thought he was dreaming because he went straight back to sleep," the entrepreneur wrote. "To be fair, he was on standby, getting some much needed rest."

We'd say he got some shock when he eventually saw the photo.
