With the massive success he's achieved on the big screen in blockbusters like Furious 7 you'd be forgiven or thinking that The Rock would let it all go to his head.

Anyone that follows the A-Lister on social media though will know that this is definitely not the case. The star is humble and grateful when it comes to his success and knows that without his fans, that success can easily fade away. Which is why he tries to be as much of a hero to his fans as he is in all of his movies.

Case in point being his response to 7 year old cancer patient Gabriel Singleton's request to meet him him. Affectionately known as 'Tater', Singleton has spent four years in cancer treatment but seeing a bald headed Rock as a movie star has made things easier for him. Tater shared a picture of a handmade letter he made for The Rock on Facebook asking for the world to share it.

It worked and The Rock spotted it, responding to his post with the below Instagram post

Not only is Tater going to get to meet The Rock but he's getting a set visit for Baywatch as well. Here's hoping the chance to meet his hero will give Tater even more strength to keep fighting.
