The golf pro stole the show during the United States team’s Ryder Cup celebrations.
It was the country’s first Ryder Cup win since 2008. They had a 17-11 victory over Europe at Hazeltine on Sunday.
All around Fowler, players embraced their partners during the official victory presentation as photos were being taken.
And so Fowler did the admirable, and shrugged while being surrounded by teammates and their WATGs.
The public adored the gestures and the beginnings of a super-meme were born:
