And it was for charity *swoon*

Around the days that teen heart throb Chad Michael Murray starred in One Tree Hill, the actor also played Austin, aka Prince Charming, opposite Hillary Duff in A Cinderella Story.

Released in 2004, the film is not very good, looking back on it, but it was a classic for most of our early noughties years.

Murray relived his character to offer his wife Sarah Roemer a date for the Children's Hospital of Orange County's Alice in Wonderland-themed prom on Saturday night.

He opted to wear his famous Prince Charming ensemble from A Cinderella Story and apparently, it's the original, as he wrote on Instagram: "Thanku @warnerbrosentertainment for letting me take the wardrobe out for a night. Big win- IT STILL FITS!"

13 years on, he's still a stud - and a charmer (sorry, couldn't resist).

I waited for a prince and he took me to my 1st prom. ðŸ'@chadmurray15 #CHOC #prom #austinames

Prom guest Chad Michael Murray greets Liliana Paez Gallardodiring their annual CHOC oncology prom at CHOC Children's hospital in Orange, CA on Saturday. Former and current Children’s Hospital of Orange County teen cancer patients and their guests held the annual event with the theme "Alice in Wonderland". The event provides a night of normalcy for teens who may have had to skip their high school proms because they were in the hospital or have weakened immune systems. On Saturday, they dressed in gowns and tuxedos, danced and posed for pictures. Hairdressers and make-up artists helped the teens get ready.
