If you haven't watched it already, Kay Burley's interview with Alton Towers CEO Nick Varney has gone viral and seen over 1,000 complaints sent to SkyNews.

There's been more since then, however.

A petition on Change.org has hit 45,000 signatures in just seven days, calling for Burley's removal from SkyNews.

Burley's been at the source of controversy for quite some time. During the 9/11 attacks in 2001, Burley said that "the entire Eastern seaboard of the United States has been decimated", whilst in 2012, Burley broke the news of a murder suspect in front of volunteers who had not yet been told that the search for a missing girl had turned into a murder inquiry.

Burley also conducted an in-depth interview with Peter Andre where her questions on his home-life made the Mysterious Girl singer well up.

Here's Burley's most recent interview which caused all the controversy. Take a look.

The petition to sack Kay Burley can be signed here.

Do you think she went too far or was she right to question the interviewee the way she did?
