The songwriter has apparently seen ghostly images of the late Back To Black purveyor three or four times in his bedroom and as a reflection in his windows late at night.
According to The Sun, he has left his home near to Amy's old house in Camden where she died in July, and fled to Paris - the home of Absinthe.
"He is utterly convinced that he has seen her ghost," said a source. "A lot of people will think his visions are probably drug-induced but he claims he is clean."
The Babyshambles frontman is believed to have been "so distraught" following Amy's death that he couldn't make it to her funeral. For the best it would seem, imagine the potential scenarios at the reception afterwards - "ARGH, there's Amy!" Nooooo Pete, that's just her parents trying to mourn their daughter's untimely death... No Pete, that's just a fur coat on a hat stand... that's just your own reflection in the window, and so on.
