Bullock has received an apology letter from one of her husband Jesse James's alleged mistresses. 'Cause a page full of "sorry" from one of the yokes your husband's jumped can only help you on the road to recovery.
According to TMZ, stripper Melissa Smith faxed the note to Bullock's agent this weekend. In the note, 35-year-old Melissa says she is "deeply sorry" and even offers to meet Bullock, 45, who is now said to be considering divorcing the 41-year-old philandering bike mechanic.
The note adds: "My actions of engaging with a married man are unforgivable. Nothing I can say will take back the hurt I caused. From the bottom of my heart I hope you accept my apology. I compromised my beliefs on several occasions and as a result will never forgive myself. Please contact me if you wish to discuss on the phone or in person."
So you can sell the resulting story to the press? Too harsh? Well how about this: live with the guilt, love. This literally faxed in apology of yours was a blundered attempt to make yourself feel better. Instead you've only caused additional angst by not letting the object of your ongoing torture believe that you do not exist. Don't give yourself thoughts and emotions, don't personalise yourself. She's already got that insufferable McGee eyesore to contend with, so just do the decent thing; just let her continue to think of you as nothing more than a bundle of accommodating flesh, and move on.
