Girls all around the world are now wishing, more than ever, that Johnny Depp was their dad. Why? Not because he's Captain Jack Sparrow, or because he gives homeless folk sums of money for their head wear, or because they're massive Tim Burton fans. It's because when you ask him to get One Direction to come visit your house, he only makes it happen. It does help that he has a recording studio in the grounds of one of his many gafs.
Someone sharing with The Sun this morning said: "Johnny found out 1D were in town and, after making a few calls, they came round to his studio. He brought out his piano and guitars for the boys to test and they had a little jam session. Lily Rose just watched with her blushing mates while her dad temporarily joined the world's biggest boyband."
One Direction are currently promoting themselves senseless in the states (hence why they weren't quite live for Saturday night's X Factor performance), drawing crowds of 15,000 outside the Today studios, and 5,000 fans during an interview with Ellen.
During their chat with DeGeneres, Styles spoke of their jet set lifestyle, by way of accounting for those blue tits he recently inked on his chest: "I got two little birdies. I like them, they're kind of like sailory, about, like, travelling. Birds fly. We fly a lot."
