It was the day long feared by all - or is it?
British tabloid The Sun ran a story claiming that One Direction are due to take a long hiatus next year to focus on individual projects. The news comes in the wake of Zayn Malik's departure from the supergroup.
However, there's been no official confirmation from any of the bandmembers and fans, as you'd expect, are furious over The Sun's story.

The Sun believes that One Direction are not splitting permanently, rather it's a temporary break. Per The Sun's alleged source, "...They fully deserve to have at least a year to work on their own projects. There is absolutely no bad blood between them and they are all 100 per cent behind the decision."
No official confirmation or statement has come from any of the band members, nor their label or management. So, the question remains - are they splitting up?
Should we start opening up hotlines to cope with the stress of it all?
