Yesterday saw the hashtag #nosesforsioda trend across Twitter, with people sharing images of their dogs' noses in honour of the passing of President Michael D. Higgins' dog, Síoda. The Bernese Mountain Dog, one-half of the most recognisable dog duo in the country, passed away following a short illness.
