Nicole Kidman will reportedly press charges against a paparazzo who crashed into her on his bicycle yesterday.

The freelance photographer Carl Wu knocked the actress to the ground in the collision outside the Carlyle Hotel where she was returning to during New York Fashion Week having just been front row at the Calvin Klein show with Rooney Mara and Anna Wintour.

According to TMZ, the paparazzo - who was trying to take a photograph of the star - attempted to brake as he got close to her, but they failed and he slammed into Nicole, sending them both to the ground.

A source said she had no visible injuries but intended to press charges - and although he was given a ticket for riding his bike on the pavement, Carl was not arrested for a criminal offense, with a policeman reportedly heard saying: 'An accident's an accident.'

According to UsMagazine.com: 'She looked hurt, but there wasn't any blood. She put her shoes back on and ran into the Carlyle.' Carl Wu isn't a first time offender either, and has had run-ins with several celebrities in the past - he allegedly behaved recklessly trying to take a photograph of Lady Gaga in 2010.
