From the Kevin and Perry to the Vengaboys, everyone loves Ibiza, and thanks to Corona, you could win the trip of a lifetime to the famous island.
If you’ve never made it to the party capital of Europe, then perhaps the only thing you know about Ibiza is what the movies have taught us, and that’s plenty. Mainly about partying, mind. From Kevin and Perry to Sex and Lucia, there have been a wide range of movies and TV shows shot there, as well as songs about the island itself.
Of course, each of these has given us a little insight into what we could expect on holiday in the Balearics, so if you want a crash course on Ibiza, then check out these tips we’ve learned over the years.
Is Harry on the Boat?
Danny Dyer first graced our screens in Is Harry on the Boat, and since then we have learned much from the Cockney geezah character that he has played in pretty much all his movies. Apart from getting an insight into the life of a holiday rep, IHOTB also gave us a lesson in Spanish pronunciation, so if you want to fit in with the locals, remember that you’re going to IBEEEFA!
Kevin and Perry Go Large
The two awkward teens had a pretty adventurous trip to the island way back in the year 2000, but the main image that we’ve been left with is their slick dancing skills. We wouldn’t know what to do when the beat drops if it wasn’t for these boys.

The Vengaboys
This isn’t a movie like our other choices, but given that people head to Ibiza to listen to some of the biggest DJ and music acts in the world play huge concerts, it’s no surprise that there are plenty of songs about it. The Vengaboys really did produce some of the finest pop of the ‘90s and early 2000s, so no surprise that their ‘We’re Going to Ibiza’ is a must for your holiday playlist. Also Tinie Tempah's 'Miami 2 Ibiza' is a contender, a trip which he actually did this year with the Gumball Rally.
