Although Donald Trump's Muslim Ban has been halted by US federal judges, it's clear that there's still a huge amount of prejudice against Muslims.

On February 7th, Muhammad Ali's ex-wife, Khalilah Camacho-Ali, and his son Muhammad Ali, Jr., were detained going through Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport by US immigration staff.

According to a statement by the family's attorney, Chris Mancini, Khalilah Camacho-Ali was only released when she was able to produce a photo of herself with her famous ex-husband.

Muhammad Ali, Jr. was held for over two hours and repeatedly asked if he was a Muslim and where his name come from. Ali Jr. explained that he was a Muslim and showed them his US passport. Ali Jr. was born in Philadelphia in 1972 and is Muhammad Ali's only biological son.

Ali was released by US immigration staff after two hours, and met with the family attorney, Chris Mancini. As it stands, the Ali family are contemplating filing a federal lawsuit and are currently trying to determine many other people have been subjected to the same treatment.
