Remember when MTV used to just play music? Remember Richard Blackwood or Cat Deeley or MTV Unplugged? Good times, good times. Well, MTV is now instead making shows like Ex On The Beach and The Valleys. So that'll show you where MTV's priorities lie.
Speaking of lying (down, on a bed), The Valleys has been dropped by MTV following a slump in ratings and the rise in popularity of other awful, awful shows. Said a spokesperson for MTV, "The Valleys has performed exceptionally well for MTV with three seasons behind it." The spokesperson went on to say that the show will be dropped and we can now all move on with our lives.
The show, which followed a group of hyper-manicured Welsh people, focused on them having sex with one another and hapless souls who dared cross their path. It's awful.
