Molly Malone has pushed her famous wheelbarrow a small bit down the road as a temporary measure while construction work for the Luas takes precedence.
The city centre was without the iconic Molly Malone statue for a while there, but today she was unveiled again in all her glory at the bottom of Suffolk Street, near the tourist information office, by Minister Paschal Donohoe this afternoon.
While he was there, the perfect photo opportunity presented itself with a young red-headed girl, who hopped up on the statue and made herself right at home.

It would be awful cynical to suggest that it had been set up, of course, so we won't do that, but you can keep an eye out for Molly at her new digs if you're in the capital this weekend, and she's been given a bit of a sprucing up while she was away.
We're not sure if that sprucing up included getting a bit of work done, as one Twitter user (possibly rightly) pointed out, her most notable assets are very much on show since she's been restored.

We're saying nothing.
