Supermodel Miranda Kerr has been left in a neck brace following a car accident in LA, damaging her back and leaving her with whiplash.

Kerr was a passenger in a car driven by an assistant when another vehicle, believed to be a drunk driver, rammed into them. Luckily no one was seriously injured and neither her husband Orlando Bloom or son Flynn were with them at the time. Kerr was taken to hospital and underwent scans and is now said to be recovering at home, with Bloom proving to be the perfect bed nurse.

Annie Kelly, Kerr's publicist confirmed the incident and the current set up saying Orlando is 'taking very good care of her. He's an amazing husband. Luckily, Flynn wasn't in the car.' The driver of the other car has been arrested and is expected to be charged by LAPD. It's unfortunately not Kerr's first incident involving car crashes, with her then boyfriend Chris Flynn dying in an accident when she was 15 years old which deeply effected the young Miranda, so this experience is not going to be taken lightly. Here's hoping for a speedy recovery.
