During a recent interview, Russell Crowe revealed the true price of fame is a high one to pay ineed.
Speaking to The Guardian, Crowe stated that when he was staying at swanky hotels on the press tours in support of his blockbuster movies, he would go under an assumed name to help him avoid any unwanted attention from fans and journalists, but there was one man who he simply couldn't get away from: Michael Jackson.
It seems that Jackson found out the name that Crowe was staying under and then would go about calling him with stupid pranks just to annoy him.
"For two or three fucking years," he says. "I never met him, never shook his hand, but he found out the name I stayed in hotels under, so it didn't matter where I was, he'd ring up do this kind of thing, like you did when you were 10, you know. 'Is Mr Wall there? Is Mrs Wall there? Are there any Walls there? Then what's holding the roof up? Ha ha.' You're supposed to grow out of doing that, right?"
We imagine that Russell would react similarly to Moe Szyslak...
