'Superbad' is undoubtedly a modern classic.

Many of the 2007 teen comedy's quotes have crept into everyday life for many people (from 'F**k my life' to the more elaborate 'Prepare to be fucked by the long dick of the law!'), while the character of Fogell aka McLovin is 100% iconic.

So iconic, in fact, that it's still inspiring young ne'er-do-wells 12 years after the film was made.

A young man, Daniel Burleson, was arrested in Iowa when he was caught in a bar. An officer spotted the 20-year-old university student with a drink in his hand and asked to see his ID. You can guess what happened next; the ID was fake. In fact, it was a Hawaii ID with the name 'McLovin' and birthdate of June 3rd, 1981.

Burleson claimed that he got the ID from Amazon and was charged with public intoxication, possession of a fake ID, possession of alcohol while underage and being in a bar after 10 p.m. while underage.

His mugshot, meanwhile, says it all:

McLovin ID arrested

And when word got through to Seth Rogen - who co-wrote the script with Evan Goldberg - he had something to say, too...
