Max Clifford has been jailed for eight years today after being convicted of eight counts of indecent assault.

Judge Anthony Leonard QC has said that the shamed PR man will serve AT LEAST four of the eight years after being convicted under sex crime investigation 'Operation Yewtree'.

Clifford has been convicted of crimes taking place between 1977 and 1984 despite denying the charges and calling his accusers "fantasists."

He is the first suspect to be convicted under Scotland Yard’s Operation Yewtree, an operation that took place after the Jimmy Savile scandal in 2012. Clifford was arrested in December of that year.
