Please remain calm everyone, let's not panic about this. Today's Irish Daily Mirror is reporting Mary Byrne has lost her voice *takes paper bag in hand to stop hyperventilating*. It's been revealed that tomorrow is Rock week on the X Factor but on Wednesday, Mary had to stop rehearsing as she lost her voice. It has been a while since someone had throat problems but this is unfortunately Mary's second time to have lost her monstrous tone and Louis fears she may land in the bottom two come Sunday.
An insider for the show said, "She's been rehearsing so hard to stay in the competition she has lost her voice and Louis Walsh is worried that she will not be able to perform this week." Mary will take on U2's song All I Want Is You and apparently, Louis had this to say, "Mary is in trouble with the rock week because it is not suiting her voice at all. There are two expected to go this week and I don't think Wagner will be one of them (seriously??). I'm scared that it's Mary that will be in the bottom two." Has he ever heard of a positive mental attitude? Mary is the better singing left in his category so having doubts like this is not doing anyone any favours. Let's keep toes, fingers, hair, legs and everything else crossed for her.
In other news, Katie has spoken for the first time about her granny being an alleged prostitute/ porn star. Speaking to the Mirror, (while at a fashion show the other day with the other contestants) weasel said it was tough finding out on Saturday about her gran's occupation but she is putting all that aside, staying positive and plans to "stay focused on the X Factor."
