Mariah Carey left the hospital and is heading straight back to work. No rest for the wicked eh?

The 43-year-old was shown leaving hospital in a wheelchair with her arm in a sling after she dislocated her shoulder on Sunday on the set of her music video for '#Beautiful' (which we still have an issue with the name of), a remix with Jeezy.

In a video posted on Mariah's official YouTube channel, she sarcastically said: 'Well that was fun. It wasn't. It was harrowing.'

However, she is keen to return to work and finish filming the video which is being directed by her husband Nick Cannon.

She said: 'I'm going back to the video, though, do you know why? Because those people that you see on MTV - we're professionals.'

Although her injuries have not completely healed she thanked fans on Twitter for well-wishes, saying: 'Still in a lot of pain - cracked rib, fractured shoulder, bruises everywhere, but the show must go on.'

Mariah is scheduled to perform on today with the New York Philharmonic in Central Park, New York City, for a Hurricane Sandy benefit.
