We know that footballers spend their free time in some questionable ways, but watching X Factor has to be one of the most controversial.
That hasn't stopped one of Manchester United's new summer recruits, Luke Shaw, from travelling down to try and catch one of the live performances this weekend. He did run in to a bit of a problem, though, when he rushed off from Manchester United's 1-0 win over Crystal palace (where he was Man of the Match) and ended up being a few minutes late for the show, which meant that they wouldn't let him in.

He's not the only one in the Premier League who enjoys a bit of pop music as both referee Mark Clattenburg and fellow United star Wayne Rooney have been spotted enjoying the work of Ed Sheeran recently. Still, he's better than the X Factor, at least.
