Robert Hamilton of Indianapolis became a millionaire twice in the last three months, after he won $1 million on two separate scratchcards. The "$120 Million Cash Spectacular Scratch-Off" game has a top prize of a million greenbacks, and lucky aul Robert managed to scoop it on Wednesday for the second time, having won it back in April also.
Hamilton told FoxNews.com that with his first win, he'd planned to pay off a few of his debts, buy a home for him and his wife, take a holiday, buy a car for his dad and then invest some money in his business, which all sounds ever so sensible. With the second, unexpected win, he has a much more fun plan.
"After he won the first time, I told him he could buy a motorcycle if he hit it again," Hamilton's wife Donna told reporters, something she may be regretting saying now, and we're sure Robert is looking at a Harley as we speak.
The odds of winning the prize are 2.1 million to one according to Hoosier lottery, who run the competition, so that means Robert Hamilton is a very lucky man. However, the odds of winning it a second time are...exactly the same, he just got lucky twice. Ah, stochasticity...
