We know people are desperate to get their hands on the new iPhone 6, but this sounds like a bit much to us.

A man in Detroit is willing to part with an entire three-bedroom house if you've got an iPhone 6 to swap for it, which is a deal that he may well live to regret if he accidentally bends the phone in his pocket.

Obviously, that sounds like a great deal, given the cost of houses in Ireland at the minute, but there are a few details that you need to consider before getting the paperwork drawn up. The house has three bedrooms, a basement and a garden, but it's what you might charitably deem a "fixer-upper", as there no doors and the windows are all broken. It's also in the bankrupt city of Detroit, and as any good real estate agent will tell you, it's all about location, location, location.

Larry Else, the particular real estate agent in charge of the deal, told Fox News that the original asking price was $5000 (€3943), although that dropped to $3000, and then eventually just a straight swap for the iPhone. "It sounds to me like he wants the (iPhone 6+) version, but I think he's willing to negotiate", said Else, before adding that a 32GB iPad would also do the job.
