It's probably the ultimate move in childish behaviour, but they do say that you need to fight fire with fire...

A man has stated that he bought all the apple pies in a branch of Bruger King in order to get his own back on a young child and his mother who were in the queue behind him and causing quite a fuss.

According to The London Evening Standard, the man said in a post on a popular subforum on reddit (where users confess to things they think would make them a bad person) that he decided to do it after having had a particularly bad day, and that the child was totally "out of control", screaming and punching the mother, who was oblivious to his behaviour while chatting on the phone to a friend.

When he turned to her to "ask her nicely if she can please calm or quiet her child down", her reaction was to scream at him also, telling him to mind his own business. He added that the child continued to scream, shouting "I want a f**king PIE!", so he decided he'd get his own back.

When he got to the counter, he claims that he bought the burgers he'd originally gone in for, but also asked for all the apple pies they had in store, which turned out to be 23 in total. Obviously that was an expensive lunch, but as he left the restaurant, he could hear the mother of the child shouting "what do you mean you don't have any pies left, who bought them all?", before he noticed the cashier pointing at him.

He claims that he pulled out a pie and began eating it before slowly walking away. He has since deleted the post (and by the looks of it his profile on reddit too) but if it's true then it takes the saying "revenge is sweet" to a whole new level.
