This woman is incapable of listening to anybody. Even to her own body. She's only signed up to run race which lasts for six days. It's a 151-miles in total and is due to take place in Morocco next April.

A source kindly offering information to Star Magazine said: "She's always been in great shape, but she is now taking things to a whole other level. She is serious about doing it." Very serious about ending it all by way of some form of embolism before she gets any older... Unless she's planning to tag team the marathon with Madonnabot, the android she's been known to wheel out onstage while she's off doing what normal 51-year-olds do - spying on the teenage daughter's Facebook; labeling stuff; making casseroles to freeze in meal-sized tupper wares; starting to get a few bits and bobs together to beat the Christmas rush; stealing off to meet the work subordinate you're having an affair with…

In spite of not heeding her own body's pleas to "give it up, already"; according to Madonna, she's one highly evolved organism which is wholly in tune with herself:

"My body is an important instrument as well as my voice. Does working out really help with singing? Yeah, absolutely. Using your diaphragm properly is connected to having good posture. Your body is one organism. You can't separate it. If you are not in good health your vocal cords will suffer. Everything will suffer."

Over to you, Aretha Franklin.
