He's probably one of the few Irish citizens to be lucky enough to have received a pay rise this year. Yes, the wee man who sits at the end of the judging panel and who only ever seems to say; "I think your grrreat... You're a grrreat Popstar" on the X Factor, has just signed a new contract for the upcoming season of the show. Louis Walsh has almost doubled his salary since starting back in 2004, according to The Sun. He will now earn a whopping £1.6 million (€1.8 million) for sitting there and pretending to know what he's talking about. But, one judge who is not rolling in the pounds is Dannii. As we said yesterday, she was heading for talks with bosses about how they would work her contract out seen as she'll be having a sprog for most of the auditions. Well, the Aussie was made take a £100,000 pay cut, which may not seem a huge mount at first, but compared to what the other three are getting, it's a serious blow. Dannii could be getting as little as £350,000. Good thing she did the M&S ad campaign.
