Once upon a time, literal MSPaint versions of songs were somewhat fashionable, and they're back for one more go with this take on Lizzo's 'Truth Hurts'.

Literal MSPaint, AKA Scott Hanscom, originally came to fame with his literal animation videos for Chris Brown's 'Look At Me Now' and LMFAO's 'Party Rock Anthem', which take inspiration from one of the earliest videos that would have done the rounds on Myspace in the mid '00s - this phonetic take on Fall Out Boy's 'Sugar We're Going Down'.

The last time the world heard from the YouTube channel was in March 2013 with the literal video for Macklemore & Ryan Lewis' 'Thrift Shop' (it was a much simpler time).

Is this very dumb? Yes.

Does it hark back to a time when the internet was a source of fun and humour and not fake news and fascism? Absolutely.

We'll take 2013 internet over 2019 internet any day.
