Ever think you'd hear Justin Timberlake taking on a Irish folk classic? Us neither. But JT stars in the upcoming Coen Brother's film Inside Llewyn Davis and well and truly gets folked up not only acting in the film but also contributing heavily to the soundtrack.
And on one track in particular, Timberlake has teamed up with Marcus Mumford and bluegrass/folkster types Chris Thile, Chris Eldridge and Gabe Witcher to take a whack on The Auld Triangle. We're impressed that he's branching out and maybe this means someone can convince him to buy a gaff here and we can all start going around for a sing-song every now and then.
