Whaddaya know, it's those Giotti photos again... while I'm at it, I need to apologise for the scant level of Gossip on this page today (when slacking off occurs, there's always Showbiz Bites. There's loads of stories, just sans the sterling wit...)

The long and the short of it is, I sat my first Driving Theory Test this morning (aged 33 *blushes*) and haven't been able to concentrate since, what with arriving late without my glasses. Thankfully I was in possession of some Rescue Remedy that a gust of wind proceeded to spray into my face, so I landed into the test centre essentially stinking of brandy, which is always a good start when sitting a driving theory doohicky. Anyway, I passed. Yay.

On to the Gossip. For the past couple of weeks there's been rumblings about Lindsay being handpicked by Victoria Giotti to play her in the biopic of her father's life. Lohan was never confirmed, yet rocked up to the official photo call, which resulted in a huge slew of publicity, which is nice.

For a week, we've sat on a knife edge, constantly wondering if Lindsay landed the role. Well, she has. But not the one she was eyeballing. The 24-year-old star has been cast in the role of Kim Gotti, the daughter-in-law of mobster John Gotti... who, according to The Mirror, is Victoria's mother... This could very well be the case considering there are three generations of John Giotti's.

Lohan told the Associated Press: "I'm really excited to be back on set and clear up all the misinterpretations about me and show this is what I love to do..." 'cause it's all about her, you understand, not the three generations of Giottis the film is attempting to depict.

She then duly added: "I think it's such an iconic story. I'm honoured to be working with John Travolta and Joe Pesci."

Too bloody right you are.
