The former Munster man is headed to France to finish his career with Toulon, and while he's gone, he's not forgotten.
The Munster legend was celebrated in limerick today as they unveiled a giant billboard with O'Connell on it, which sits above the doors of Brown Thomas on, as you might expect, O'Connell Street. What with the man being a living legend in that part of the world, the new ad has been getting plenty of attention on social media, with people tweeting their own messages of thanks to the big man.

In fairness, the billboard would need to be pretty big to fit O'Connell on it, he's a mountain of a man.
