Move over Aldidas - Lidl has entered the fashion market (and no, Aldidas isn't a thing... yet).
In case you were stumped as to what other weird and wonderful ways 2020 could keep on plying us with madness, in comes the Lidl merch that is sure to be flying off the shelves in the near future.
Uploading a brief video outside of what looks like the Lidl store in Tallaght, Dublin, the supermarket has released a first look at their trainers, socks and t-shirt with their branding all over them.
Interestingly, the company is on the hunt for
Ireland's Lidl's Next Top Model to be the face of their new line of clothing. So, if you're feeling like a lifetime supply of Lidl products sounds like a winner, then get applying (you won't actually be getting a lifetime supply of Lidl products but you will have your face on a billboard).
For all the details on this new potential venture for you budding models, head over to Lidl's Facebook page for more info. We presume the casting process will be much less cut-throat than America's Next Top Model - but you never know.
"The rumours are true... our Lidl merch is coming in late November and we want to find Lidl's Next Top Model who'll be featured on our social media, in our famous weekly leaflet AND on a billboard. This could be you"
