Ah here, another break-in using a digger in Ireland. As if we weren't all collectively mortified enough after the Lidl incident during snowmageddon a couple weeks ago.
The Irish Examiner reported earlier today that raiders used a digger to try to steal the safe from a McDonald's in Limerick. Needless to say, they weren't successful.
As the victim of a similar crime, Lidl Ireland were quick off to the mark to offer their support, and hats off to whoever is on their Twitter account these days, as they are nailing it.
@McDonalds Hope you're okay hun x

Now let that be an end to the digger break-ins lads, alright? Seriously.
