The person running Lidl Ireland's Twitter account deserves an award - or at least a hearty slap on the back - for their sense of humour in the face of adversity.

As you may have heard, the company had a rough time over the weekend when one of its stores in south Dublin was looted and pretty much destroyed in the snow on Friday night.

Presumably taking the theme 'If you don't laugh, you'll cry' and running with it, they took to social media to ask an important and fairly tongue-in-cheek question...

Fair play to them for keeping a smile on their face despite a pretty crap weekend.
