Liam Hemsworth's friends have urged him to dump Miley Cyrus.
The 23-year-old actor fled to Australia to spend time with his family amid reports he cheated on Miley with January Jones and although he has now returned to Los Angeles, Liam's pals have reportedly told him he should end his engagement to Miley.
A source told Us Weekly magazine: 'Liam's friends suggested he end things.'
The Hunger Games hunk refused to answer any questions when paparazzi probed him at Los Angeles airport about 'The Climb' singer when he arrived on Wednesday (20.03.13).
Miley has also been quick to defend claims the couple have split by proudly showing off her 3.5 carat Neil Lane engagement ring on Instagram and Twitter earlier this week.
Previous reports suggested the 20-year-old singer was 'in denial' her relationship with Liam has ended.
A source said: 'Liam is fed up of Miley's brattish behaviour. She always needs to be the centre of attention.'
Miley, who first met Liam in 2009 on the set of their film 'The Last Song', was pictured not wearing her engagement ring earlier this month, but said it was because it was being fixed by a jeweller.
She said: 'I didn't call off my wedding. Taking a break from social media.'
